Prohibited uses

You may not use Laplace to:

  • Upload content you don't have the rights to, or that infringes intellectual property or privacy.
  • Process sensitive personal data in violation of applicable law, or build models intended to unlawfully identify, surveil, or discriminate against people.
  • Generate models or analyses for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or harassing purposes.
  • Attempt to breach security, evade quotas or billing, reverse-engineer the service, or access other tenants' data.
  • Run malware, crypto-mining, denial-of-service, or other abusive workloads on our compute.
  • Resell or sublicense the service except as expressly permitted.

High-stakes and regulated uses

Laplace outputs are advisory decision-support, not professional advice. You must not use Laplace as the sole or primary basis for decisions in medical diagnosis or treatment, legal determinations, credit/insurance/employment eligibility, safety-critical engineering, or other regulated or high-risk contexts without independent expert validation and appropriate compliance controls. See the capability matrix for per-task limitations.

Fair use of compute

Plans include quotas and per-run and monthly GPU caps. Sustained abuse, attempts to circumvent limits, or workloads that threaten platform stability may be throttled or suspended.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access. To report abuse, email abuse@laplace.ai. Copyright and takedown reports are handled under our IP & Takedown Policy.
